Play, Make, Create

On Friday, we did Play Make Create. This is where the teacher reads you a story and you discuss the message in the story. Then you create something based on the message and also do a piece of writing. You can use materials or make a digital creation.  This week Mrs Craig Read the book: That’s Not the Monster We Ordered.

It was about being grateful for what you have.

I chose to make a monster and it's name is Cherry Blossom and this is my finished monster:

Maths 3D Clock Week 10 Term 3

Yesterday, for maths we had to read a step by step procedure for making a 3D clock. It was very tricky. We had to measure in centimetres to make equilateral triangles, measure the angles with a protractor to check they were 60 degrees, make a clock face and arrows and tie it all together with string. I was glad when I finished. The clock hands were the hardest part. Here is a picture of my clock.

In Week 8, Term 2  our school librarian, Mrs C, retired. On her last day, we put on a  Book Character Parade.
