Animal poem week 8 term 3

 For the last two weeks we have been learning about different kinds of poetry for reading and writing. I decided to publish this poem. It is an animal puzzle poem.

PMC Week 3 Term 3

 In Week 3 of Term 3, we did Play Make Create. This is where the teacher reads you a story and you discuss the message in the story. Then you create something based on the message and also do a piece of writing. You can use materials or make a digital creation.  This week Mrs Craig Read the book: The smartest Giant in Town by Julia Donaldson.

  It was about being kind.

 I chose to write three things the giant did that showed he was kind.

Writing term 2 week 8

 In Week 8, Term 2  our school librarian, Mrs C, retired. On her last day, we put on a  Book Character Parade. We dressed up in costumes like book characters and then we went on a parade through the Daycare Centre next to the school, past the shops in the village, along Hobson St and back upTennyson St to the school. 

 I chose to dress up as a dancer from a book and I was from the spaniel group

 In Week Seven of Term 2, we did Play Make Create. This is where the teacher reads you a story and you discuss the message in the story. You can use materials or make a digital creation.  This week Mrs Craig Read the book: The Day the Crayons Quit.  It was about crayons that quit because their owner would use them too often or not use them at all. I chose to make a picture with a girl looking at the moon and stars because they are yellow.

I also did an emoji for the sun.

reading week 10 term 1

 This week for reading we read an extract from Charlie and the chocolate factory. It described Willie Wonka. Then we had to answer some questions and find the language that described his face. Here is my work.
